The Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede is a not-for profit community service organization who partners with sponsors to market our individual events to a wide audience.
The marketing and promotional opportunities available to you with the partnership is a unique way to present your business, network with peers, and support a long standing community tradition.
Sponsors can use our Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede events as an opportunity to enhance market visibility. By providing access to the community at-large, the annual fair offer sponsors an opportunity to position themselves within the community as neighbors and good corporate citizens.
Businesses can use the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede year round as both a sales opportunity and a chance to promote their own brand identity. Youth Committee
Be Involved
If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, we have just the thing for you; join the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede Youth Involvement Program.
Selected individuals will:
- Have free access to all Stampede Events
- Participate with Stampede Committees
- Act as an ambassadors of the Stampede
- Provide the Stampede with feedback from a youth’s perspective
This is an opportunity to have the time of your life, to become knowledgeable and involved with one of the biggest attractions in Southeast Alberta and to represent the youth of the community.
All you have to do is:
- fill out the Youth Application
- Email it to the Stampede Office OR
- Fax it to the Stampede Office at 403.529.6553 OR
- Mail it to Box 1298, Medicine Hat, AB T1A 7N1 OR
- Drop it off at the Stampede Office located at 2055 – 21st Ave SE (located next to the Kinplex)
Volunteer
We need your help
Volunteers spend tremendous time and energy promoting the Stampede and the city of Medicine Hat and area, provide valuable service to the community, and are the foundation of volunteerism at other large special events. If you would like to volunteer with any of our Committees ranging from entertainment to special events to the rodeo, submit your Volunteer Application to the Stampede Office.

The Pavilion is an ideal space for large events. There is a lobby, with ticketing windows and a concession is on site if you require food and beverage. The Pavilion, Auditorium and Fieldhouse can become combined spaces to host a large event.

Description
The Fieldhouse is the ideal space for large events. The Fieldhouse is equipped to host a variety of sporting events, with bleachers for viewing space. There is a lobby, with ticketing windows and a concession is on site if you require food and beverage. The Fieldhouse, Pavilion and Auditorium can become combined spaces to host a large event.
The Fieldhouse hosts the Farmers’ Market every Saturday (Spring-Fall).
Indoor Sports
The field can accommodate a variety of sporting events including; soccer, tennis, roller derby, BMX, baseball, golf, floor hockey, rugby, futsol, rodeos, equestrian sports and more.
The Fieldhouse has one large field or we can drop the sports curtains to separate into three fields. We have upgraded LED lights throughout the venue to help keep a competitive edge.

The Cypress Centre – Auditorium is decorated in neutral tones, which will compliment your event. This venue includes built-in bleachers, sound system, burgundy velvet curtains and a grey floor. The room can be divided in half or in four so it will suit any function large or small. When entering, there is a large lobby to welcome your guests, and the Fireside Room and Sierra Rooms are located just off the lobby, allowing for breakout space, if you require those needs. The Auditorium, Pavilion and Fieldhouse can become combined spaces to host a large event.

Description
We are proud to be building a legacy with the Medicine Hat Accommodation Association and currently have extended the roof of the Carriage House. The extension now covers an area on the cement pad that is 60’x60′.
The Carriage House and Park is a charming space which includes the house, spacious veranda, Co-Op Pioneer Village, and gazebo — a perfect spot for a corporate BBQ or a smaller meeting. Rent tents to maximize space and invite your guests to enjoy the outdoors. This is one of our most popular venues!
Our beautiful Carriage House backs on to a private, gated, 6 acre park with mature trees, massive lawns, a Gazebo and our own quaint, “Turn of the Century” historic Main Street.
The Carriage House is well equipped with a kitchen, covered veranda and a huge cement patio that lends itself to dancing under the stars or erecting tents for a garden party.
St. James Church is part of the historic main street within the park. Restored to its earlier glory, this beautiful little church with its 13 pews and stained glass windows is the perfect setting for a country wedding!
